Built to explore. Built to last.
A polished Airstream does not move on its own. Ours is pulled by a 1979 International Scout II in black, open-topped with a roll bar, hitched to the trailer we call the Silver Bullet. A coffee trailer deserves a tow rig with character, and this pair has it to spare.
Here they are as they sit today: the Scout hitched to the Silver Bullet, ready to roll out together. A little patina, a lot of polish, and exactly the pair that should be working the streets of Winston-Salem.
Before it pours a single cup, the Silver Bullet is getting the work it has earned. Stripped to bare aluminum, it has made the trip to Jackson Center, Ohio, the town Airstream calls home, for new axles, a new bottom, and the rest of what it takes to roll for years to come. Here is the shell as it sits today, a walk through the inside, the day it rolled out, and its arrival at the factory.
The Silver Bullet made it to Jackson Center, Ohio, and is now parked at the Airstream factory for new axles, a new bottom, and the rest of its rebuild. Next stop, back on the road.
